Dear IL-ites,

December - The month of cakes and candles, snow and carols, decorations and celebrations.

Christmas is coming and it can mean only one thing - Christmas trees and twinkling decorations all around us. So, this month, our topic of the month is home decorations during Christmas.

The contest for December 2010 is....

Home Decorations during Christmas Season

Contest is about....

Post the picture of your decorated home during the Christmas season with an interesting write up not exceeding 100 words. It can be a picture of your decorated Christmas tree, Christmas nativity scene/crib work/crafts or it can be a picture of your home decorated on Christmas.

Points to be noted:

An ILite can post only ONE entry. Please post the picture as an attachment in this thread.

Entries should be posted only in this thread for it to qualify for the contest.

Strictly NO COPY PASTING pictures from other sites / magazines.

Contest ends on 31st, December 2010.

Best and interesting write up with attractive picture will be selected by the panel of Judges for a Special gift.

Though by birth I am not a Christain... But I have faith in Lord Jesus..And I love celebrating Christmas

From childhood i had a dream of setting up a Christmas tree at home for Christmas. And this dream has come true because of my son. This year I have set a small Christams tree at home...As Christmas comes it brings me the sweet memories of the Chris Mom game which we played in college, office and even at home for Christmas.

I pray to The Lord to shower his blessings and give happiness to this world...Merry Christmas to All.....

Hello Ladies,

I cannot remember one Christmas that went by without my handmade decorations. I make it a point to adorn our home with my handiworks especially at Christmas time. Even though a variety of decorative ornaments appear on the racks of shops especially during the season, my pleasure in decorating the home is complete only with handmade pieces. This year i made a Christmas tree completely out of old materials and a snowman out of cotton and few buttons and ribbon. I believe that in addition to decorating the home, Christmas should also be a time to decorate lives with good values.

Here are the pictures of my decorated home. I hope you all have fun seeing them.
