    Hi Chithuamma,

Channa Kofta is always a hit in my home...Everyone like it and i already given a feedback about it.

I thought of sharing a intresting pieace of information about (channa recipe) it, hope you like it.

Isreal's street food is called "Falafel" (it's thier unofficial national food), it is done by soaking channa(white one), grinding it with ginger, garlic and adding pepper powder, salt, coriander and for binding corn flour.

Ha.. Ha... similiar to your Kofta, Actually Falafel orginated in Egpt now the whole middle eastern country's restaurant has this recipe, they have it with pita bread, like how we eat our vada pav.

After reading this information i do Kofta as per your reciepe and make a burger out of it.

    Dear C,

Now cooking and back in full form. Breakfast is lapsi upma and peanut chutney. Lunch is keerai masiyal, ladies finger fry and tomato rasam. I had kalyana rasam powder done on weekend, so rasam was like a breeze, dinner is lapsi idly and coconut chtputney. Thanks for your tips on basmati cooking I will try this weekend. Thanks soooo much

    Very interesting feedback, Radha!!

Instead of mandatory rotis, I think Lapsi idli will make a good variation!!
I am delving deep into millets!:biggrin2:
    Dinner was thinai dosai!! 3 thinai + 1 urad+ 2 tsp tur dhal + 1 tsp methi!!
