Hi, Ithink because youused frozen beans perhaps, this happened. But let me tell you, it is a dry dish 7& masala is likely to cling to mochai but is nice when eaten. Since we boil it quite soft, it is homogeneous.
:bonk Oops, sorry, I thoughtI had replied:bonk Now a days, I purposely go slow if I run short of podis so that I will be tempted to try the other recipes Oh semiya bahalabhath is a "tasty dearie:!!:biggrin2:
Dear Chithra, Made greens oothappam for breakfast today, loved it. For lunch, it was vazhaippoo pitlai. I made Kerala red rice. Aravindh and me had a fabulous lunch, along with curd. You have made cooking so easy.
Dear CV, Did Tri color Puri with baby corn subji over the weekend when there were guests, it was thoroughly enjoyed by both the kids and adults. Though the recipe involved prep work Aditi did help me out to roll the tri color puris. Also made Lollypop Cookies for which the basic dough was that of Pin wheel cookies but the decoration idea got it from a TV Show. Kids loved and sure fire hit in the party. Dessert was Elaneer Ice cream where the basic Ice cream was prepared and for flavoring I added elanner vazhukai and fresh cream garnished with chikki and nuts, for kids it was garnished with chocolate sauce and choc chips. Thanks for all the lovely recipe and making my weekend party a huge hit. Laxmi.
Dear Laxmi, It is a pleasure to read your feedback. Tricolour pouris aregobbled in a fraction of a time taken to make them!!:biggrin2: Since I know how often you make pinwheel cookies, I understand your second photo. For the benefit of ILites, I request you to share here, how you used that recipe, to get this finish. Icecream looks yummy!! Thanks a ton for gracing this forum with a FB!!
Friends, Recently in this thread a member asked me for barley recipes. I tried this health idli this morning. Please follow lapsi idli recipe, if you want to try this. I suggest you use barley kurunai available now as barley dalia, rather than whole barley.
Dear Chithramma, Yesterday for lunch made Brinji rice & Bhagara baingan. It has been long time since I made something other than routine. So everyone loved it & everything got for for lunch itself. For dinner made Khichdi Daal Dosai & pressurepan gotsu. This is one of the most easy & fuss free dosai .The gotsu was again another 5 minute job, but very tasty. Only after making gotsu , I realised that I made brinjal for both lunch & dinner but no one was complaining.Today made my favourite Milagu kuzhambu.Thank you . Love, Damini.
