Shobana, once you get "the hang" of parathas, it becomes very simple!! Mix & match to your liking. Thanks.
Sowmi, it was "drought" for a VERY LONG time! :-( Then there was a drizzle (mild only) 2 days back. This morning is the first shower of rain!!:hide: Thanks.

dearest chitra mami yest made idli, rayar sambar, tomato chutney and mysore masal dosai (sans masala).. the last weekend i had made the MMD batter along with the idli one, the subtle additions of some parupus make a lot of difference in the taste and colour. rayar sambar was all gama gama with the coriander. we all enjoyed our dinner very much thx and luvs shyamals.
Dear Maami, Made Kadamba paratha with Puri Potato masala. I dont know how I missed this Kadamba paratha for so long. It was easy and tasted really good. And the good thing is it doesnt use any special ingredients. onion and tomato will be availabe at home all the time and you can prepare a tasty paratha out of it. Wonderful ! Thanks a lot, Aswini
Dear Chiths Today made rosti for snack in the evening...Aarushi enjoyed it the best and kept on asking for more and loved the rosti tomato ketchup combo !!!!A very crunchy taste was there because of the crushed groundnuts.... lov sowmi
Oh sorry, Aish! :-( I read this post but forgot to reply you!! My amma used to say that only those who relish good food will make very good cooks!! That should indicate to you that you have a "chef in the making" :thumbsup For uudupi sambar, I prefer country vegs - poosani, vbinshi, brinjal & drumstick!!
