    Dear Gayathri,
This being a savoury bun couples with a soup excellently! Hot cross bun is a geat dish for high tea.
    I am now making
    Single pan easy poricha kuzambu
with a single veg & without coconut. Will post it shortly.
Raw papaya makes great dishes!!But has to be 'garden or farm-fresh'!!
    Thanks.
    Love,
    Chith

    Dear Chithra Mami,

Made Diet Koottu with white pumpkin today. It is a very jiffy dish. Very healthy too! Thanks to you I am using my p. cookers and p. pan so much more - and I think they make such a big difference.

Thank you so much as always!

    Love,
    Sindhu

    Dear C,

For dinner made roti and Indian chilli paneer. Was eyeing on this one since long. Got paneer and capsicum during weekend. This dish had a great aroma with capsicum and ginger garlic paste. While cooking, whole house had a nice smell. It was too good. Myself and my husband liked it. Definitely a change from the usual side dish.
My husband said can't it be made as gravy. I thought the capsicum will become soggy, isnt it? And while frying paneer, the pieces got stuck to each other. After that I could seperate it, just wanted to know what could be the reason?

Is breadfruit one variety of chakkai?

    Love,
    Priya

    Dear Chithramma,

    today's FBs....

for kutty's lunchbox again chinese noodles. he didn't finish the entire portion.... must be the garlic but i enjoyed it for my breakfast:)

lunch your thakkali saadam with fruits raitha (making it after a loooong time; with apples and grapes) and puli ingi. this recipe was very different because i normally make with green chillies.

dinner lapsi-oats kichdi and again novel tiffin sambar. the kichdi is a fantastic recipe. oats normally DH runs away in any form but this one he couldn't believe had oats.

i have a doubt: tomato thokku... do you soak the tomatoes+tamarind in fridge or outside:idea? until now i did this recipe twice and kept it in fridge only but today suddenly got a doubt:(

Chitra, since we can use palak for many dishes, I am glad you get palak there!! Morkuzambu, raita are all ideal to go with sadams!
    Love,
    Chithra

Thanks, Sindhu. Diet kootu is just basic - vary the vegs every time to get a feel of variety.
I now use one pr pan & one 3 litre cooker for my entire samayal. Both these are necessary to cook a 3 course meal, in a short time. That is why I am postponing to reply gayathriair for her query on how to cook with a p pan alone.
    Love,
    Chithra.
