CC, it is an excellent combo!:thumbsup
Many frown at, fruits being included in cooking! They know not how excellent mampazam tastes in kuzambu!:biggrin2:
It is not easy if you & A go round in circles around eachother - one gets on the other's nerves!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    dearest chitra mami

this was also a long time eyed item.. today dinner was Bajji Chilli-Tomato Mandi with chappathi and cauliflower curry. had the long chillis and some small sweet peppers, added some capsicum as well to make up the quantity. very very tasty and tangy from the tomato and puli. easily satisfied my friday jain cooking as well.

    Dear chithra mami,
My mom has purchased prestige OTG.Baked a cake successfully.Got baking vessel at ibrahim and other ingredients at Remuki.still hunting for brown sugar though. The manual of otg has poor information about the operation.waiting for the demonstration.
how long does it take to preheat otg 180deg?should both(top and bottom) pipes inside the otg be preheated and stay heated through out the baking process?i saw the similar picture in the "drinking chocolate cake photos".

I know iam asking something vague, but still do share your knowledge.Thank you.The toffee bars look stunning.

    Chitramma,

Made Butter Biscuits and Salt Biscuits today. BB was so much melt in the mouth types. I think the salt biscuit is a everyday biscuit type, and goes very well with tea. So cooked in that for 20 minutes. Came perfect. BB is a very rich recipe. Also made palak paneer and potato roast curry for lunch today. Amma made rotis for it. The palak paneer was jain, omitted the sauting of onions - I think the flavour is only in the addition of masala at the mid of cooking - something that is not done too often. Your method of curd marination is so filled with roastness!

Dear SD, I wonder if you will get brown sugar anywhere, if not in Remukhi?:idea
Yes, OTG manuals are a waste!!
Yes, both should be heated & it will take about just 10 mtes. The top can be switched off once you start baking.
In my MW with convection, it gets 'self-adjusted'.
The toffee bars are as awesome in taste as well!!
    All the best.
    Love,
    Chithra.
