    Dear Chithra,
    was at mother's place as SIL was admitted in hospital and mom was also sick. SIL is home yesterday and so came home today.
    I made pongal, veg. upma, etc.for breakfast when I was there. Otherwise it was just normal cooking with everybody's appitite going down. Should start cooking here from tomorrow morning. Will be shuttling between both homes for sometime. A will be coming home for pongal and am looking forward to that.
    Archana's friend came from US and had brought some very tasty chocolates. One was having a different taste, peanut butter and a little saly tasste. I enjoyed that much and remembered that Arch has said she had made something like that recently. And, that chocolate was in a tiny papercup, so cute.

    Yes, the powder does the trick - whatever vegs you add!!

    I made Bhatura for dinner today. It puffed very well, and was very tasty. Thanks to my live demo with you yesterday - it was simply a easy job. Had with the Chole ( oh, you know the source)

    Hi Chithumma,
    I made brinjal groundnut rasavangi yesterday for dinner with asparagus curry and tomato rasam. Today planning to make kollu dosai so have soaked it in the morning. will let you know how it comes :)

    Dear Chithumma,

    Made pineapple gojju with Rawa pongal for dinner yesterday. I dunno if its a combo. But for my flu val setha nakku the pepper jeera in pongal and tangy sweetness of gojju was like heaven right here. R who generally frowns about fruits being cooked said that gojju was good.

    I made easy veggie pulao for dabba and Thinking of sending A to school today. Just being at home all day gets her and me too.

    Dear Mami,

    I made rasam and olan(yellow pumpkin) for dinner. I had more than what I usually have and it's a comfort food. No restaurant food will match our traditional food.

    Just to be on the safer side I kept aside a bowl of olan for DH. En naaku apadi :)
