    Dear Archana,

Thanks for your nice words. Please accept my sinceire thanks for helping Mrs.Chithra for taking pictures for the step by step thread. I like the enthusiasm with which you try and post different recipes, keep it up. The carrot halwa looks absolutely yummy and delicious. Hope to see you again with more Diwali sweets and Karam photographs.

you again remind me of amma, Chithramma. She collects utensils as appropriate for bakshanams. i have already told her i don't need her jewels but all her laddu jarani, vanalis should be willed only to me:) she had long time back mentioned about jilebi chatti to me... looks like i must accept a long impending invitation to my chithappa's in Trichy. he has always got mom best iron stuff from srirangam temple.

oh chithramma i have nice vanali back home gifted by amma but they will not suit the electric cooking system here. i should probably look for chattis here:(

please i'll be more than happy to try out ragi thenkuzhal... thank you thank you...

You cannot compromise on oil in rava recipes - the lack shows its ugly head, definitely.
    Good going & enjoy.

    Thankyou, Shiji, for dropping in.
No, we cannot make milk cream at home. Please buy cartons like Amul.
    Love,
    Chithra.

Dear Damini, trying with 1/4 cup is more tricky - I am amazed!!
They can be kept in the fridge for 5,6 days.
    LOve,
    Chithra.
