    Hello Mrs. C

You are absolutely right as always. I realized it after only. 2 cups made around 40 pedas and didn't have the time to decorate it properly when they were still warm(Aarinadhuku aparam pannina udhunduduthu).

And to add to it i had my daughter running around and i got distracted. I will never this mistake again.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    Regards
    GK

    Hello Mrs. C

Just now saw your chocolate peda recipe. I was wondering how to make the shapes like they sell in the stores. Idhu en enakku thonalai(because I am not chitvish!)I know they make them with moulds but where to buy them.

Ice cube tray is a very good option. And adding nuts and then filling it really make them to stick together. Adutha shooping la ice cube tray list la irukku.

    Thanks
    GK

    Dear Padma,
    Welcome :)
    & Sorry :-(
I tend to miss the last post in a page, at times!!
    Thanks for your nice words.
Baking is not possible in the usual MW oven, you must have the convection type or OTG!
A few recipes can be tried with wheat flour, ofcourse, results will be within limitations!
    Do try other recipes, Padma!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chitra maam,

I have been a silent reader of this forum. I browse through all your recipes and infact made few of them and it was a super duper hit. I made Channa-Mint Pulao, Peshawari Chole, Carrot Dates salad, Rajma Biriyani and all the items tasted heavenly :thumbsup. Both me and my DH are very fond of eating. My DH is very happy these days that i prepare new dishes for him and whenever i say him i have prepared a new dish he asks me is it Chitra maami's recipe :rotfl. You are such an wonderful Inspiration to me:bowdown:bowdown:bowdown:bowdown:bowdown

    Regards,
    Premsudha

    Dear Chith

just now saw the recipe for mixed fruit halwa. WOW! Can't wait to try making and eat the soft, chewy delight. The photo made me drool at 6.30 in the morning.
I have never seen liquid glucose, wonder what I can substitute? Will it be found in the bakery section?
