    Feedback

    Dear Chitra,

I always thought I'm not good at making rasams.
Deepu always disappoints me comparing my preparation with my Mom's & giving negative remarks. for the first time, prepared Mangalore rasam on Sunday & poricha rasam yesterday and she appreciated it very much & after eatign with rice, she took a little more in a glass & enjoyed it as a drink too. Now, I've print outs of some more of your rasam recipes & planning to try them all.
wow, feels nice - feel more complete now thanks to you.

    Love & regards,

Rasam is the elixir of S I cooking !

    Dear Meena,
Nice to know that you have applied yourself to successful rasam making ! I make all varieties by one whistle method & all it takes to make a rasam is a few mts !
    Thanks for the F B .
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    5. Badam Halwa - Best recipe I have ever tried.

    Super samayal!

Had a hearty lunch yesterday with
    1. CVVK(needless to say!),
    2. Snake gourd kootu(beans kootu recipe, very tasty!),
    3. Potato roast(ohhh, yummy was it!!),
    4. Morsambar(looks like eriseri, tastes like arachu vitta sambar/kalan/poricha kuzhambu, i dunno it was a mix of all the things i love, but tasted better than all of them!!!! - this is a sure keeper!)
    5. Novel tiffin sambar with rava idli (super combo ma!!)

Have to double the sets of exercises tday, for I was hogging all day!!!

I keep sending recipes to mom and ask her to try stuff that i successfully made, but now I am thkg that maybe I should surprise her with these typical 'namma ooru' chaapadu when I go to India!!

    Thanks for everything Mrs Chitra!

    Love
    Shalini

    very very very delicious

    Hello Mrs CV,
Made CVVK and potato roast for dinner... i came home late after work..but inspite of that everything could be prepared in little time. Me and my husband just loved both the things. I had made CVVK using tamarind and sundakai earlier but this definitly surpasses the taste! Hats off to you!
    Love

    Super Sambar!

    Dear Mrs.Chitra,

I made Kovilakathu Sambar yesterday for dinner. Absolutely delicious. Did not find any difference between this sambar and our regular arachuvitta sambar. I followed your recipe and used only carrots for grinding and avoided coconut. Super paruppu-free sambar!
    Thankyou for the recipe.

    Regards,
    Deepa
