It was yet another brilliant idea of yours to clssify members according to our posts. It ismoitvating me to write more if only to touch the next level of glory. Dear Chith,
You must now be at a stage of stagnation with so many firsts! But this classification makes you distinct a s the major CONTRIBUTOR. Most of your posts are contributions which you share from the wealth of collections in your lifetime and it is so selfless of you to make even a novice comfortble with her small doubts. THat is your greatness Chith. Knowledge shared is indeed knowledge doubled. But in your case you have turned out so many soooooooooooper cooks which even an institution may not do.Knowledge has become mutifold here.May God continue to keep you in good health to share more with us.:yes: Niraikudame, nee oru pozhuthum thalumbamaattai.

I am very happy to receive your congratulatory message.
Let me write about a few terms, you have used !

Novice - well, I can never forget the days when my mother struggled to drive in my mind the difference between tur dhal & gram dhal. She still teases me, that I used to ask her whether one should count the no: of methi seeds & dhaniya, befor frying for a masala, so that the taste will be just right !

I personally feel that stagnation is one thing, everybody should overcome in life, age no bar. There is so much to learn, so much to do - but our life span is so short. So I forge ahead in my life with the firm belief " The best is yet to be" - that is my motto as well.

As for contributor - we are all born & grow up to be survivors. But at some stage in life, should we not evolve into a contributor from a survivor, whatever be the realm or field we choose? Now, you have given me a seed to germinate in my mind & thinking preocess - I want to post an article in the culture thread " From a survivor to a contributor" !!

You are right - all that I pray to God is for an agile mind & healthy body, so long as I live. For that, I need the best wishes from all of you, my dear I L ites.

I am sure, you did'nt bargain for such a long reply, Meenu.

Thankyou very much for your congratulatory mesage.
You are right when you say that we are so well connected through I L. I feel as though I know a few of you who interact with me regularly, very well !
Whenever an I L ite comes to India & calls me on the phone or mobile, I am surprised at how we can talk to eachother for an hour atleast , believe me !!
It is likely that I may have more reservation with a cousin or a niece who lives locally because of "less connectivity" on a regular basis !
