Child Sexual Abuse- Awareness is the only solution, a small video by Kalki kochlein

Kalki kochlein , the popular Hindi actress of French descent, who did her mind blowing role in the movie, 'Dev D' again has rocked. This time, with her, brief interview to NDTV, on the subject of Child Sexual Abuse.

Her courage and conviction on talking about such a sensitive subject, especially with reference to her own experience of Child Sexual Abuse, as a child, is really commendable.

Many parents, do not know the following :

1) Child Sexual Abuse is very common in every household.

2) In 90 % of the cases, the offender is a person belonging to the same family (a cousin or uncle etc, often).

3) Female children are not the only ones to suffer it. Even young male children are vulnerable to it

4) With the simple awareness and acknowledgment of the existence of this common problem, an alert mother, can prevent her son/daughter being subjected to Child Sexual Abuse.

Kalki Kochlein is simply superb and bold, right Rakhi ?

In Dev D movie itself, she impressed me a lot. But now, the social causes she takes up one by one, with incredible courage is amazing !
