Hi Ilites, My cousin is going to Chennai in 3 weeks with her 8 months old baby. She has to take a domestic flight after landing in Chennai International airport. What is the best mode of transportation she has to take. I know it is nearby. Is there any connection walkway between these two airports? Or have to come out of one airport go in to another. Thanks for your response in advance.
They have vehicles inside for travellers who wanna go from domestic to international.....she can check.with any official in Airport. Ask her to check with both the international and domestic flights shez taking for any assistance....
Hi, When you come from international airport,there is free shuttle to domestic airport. She can go in it. Ask ur friend to find a person there who will pick up luggage from conveyer and they also help to load in shuttle.
Hi I am going to Chennai after 2 weeks. My flight will land at midnight 12:10. I am going alone with 2 kids.Can I wait until morning till my Brother come to pick up me? Is there space or seats available inside arrival after I claimed my baggage to stay for around 4-5hrs?

You can freshen up, and wait inside. Only do not let curious airport help staff get to you. They will try to help you. Tell them you will ask.have a good flight. Even if you were to wait outside it is not bad. Airport is always busy and 2 to 4 there are many flights landing. 12.10 landing and after immigration and baggage pick it would be 1.00 max. I have taken prepaid taxi home, just saying it is safe.

Any friends already had this type of situation? @Shanvy actually I have to go salem with my brother after finished my visa stamping drop box process on that day itself. So need to go to hotel room. So I must wait until my brother reach.thats y I can't take taxi all by myself
