    I was reading something in the other room and my husband was watching Pammal K sambandam. I was drawn when the alapana started for the song
    Gadothgaja
    On browsing around I found it was the alap of famous Ada Modi Galage.
    Further I found the following songs set in same raga

    vasantha mullai poley vandhu (sArangadhArA) [ Adi/ chatusram ]

    The alap in gadothgaja was excellent that drove me to find other songs.
