I think best method is to coat it with oil and store in an airtight container in fridge.. It works...

 

best thing store in tupperware container,nothing will happen.

I am just wondering if the problem is the box and not the dough. Perhaps your plastic ware got contaminated and that is why your dough goes bad quickly. Since plastic is an amorphous substance, moulds can get into the plastic itself and then start growing in whatever is stored there. Perhaps get a new container and see if that helps.

 

Instead of oil apply some ghee on the dough and store. you will not get the dark colour on the dough.
