personally I feel an ordinary person does not face much security or aggression in life time............I grew up in HP where life was slow but quite safe...............as teen I did face eveteasing but nothing which threatened my free movement...............stayed in rented flats to finish higher education in different city away from parents but life was ok.......everyone around in neighbourhood ,college knew we girls stay alone but never faced any problem.. since marriage have lived in 3 differentAfrican countries,hubby travelling away for months ,flying back & from India numereous time all alone but things were safe till now ......... so I feel this security issue is too much media generated.............now all of sudden women violence is in focus so daily one hears about some rape,acid attack or so on........but I feel maybe 1 in 1000 women face aggression whether at home or outside.......its making people paranoid about security....... also parenting is not that difficult.....it depends upon your situation....if you are working it may be tough,if you go too much by book it may be stressful or as SAHM are overinvolved with your children's life then it can be difficult but if you take things easy & let nature take its course then life for you,your family & kids is sweet..........
