Cartoon Character(teletubbies) embroidery

    Hi :hiyafriends,
    yesterday bored with doing works with crochet. so i did this cute one for my dearest son.........he loves alot and feel very happy dont want to pickout his T- shirt whole day..............:). have a look. used stitches - stem stitch and french knots for eyes. i drawn by my own by watching the picture of the teletubby in the net and my ds wants some more cartoon characters. so having plan to do more in future.........searching for good pictures to draw.........its difficult to draw the cartoon characters as such in the picture from the computer screen to the paper.......i want to draw by my own freehand sketch........thats y didnt prefer carbon paper..........how is it friends??

    hi ramvino,

    there are two kinds of stitches : stem and outline stitch ( where the stitches are same just that the direction of thread is left or right respectively )

    and i feel you have worked both these in this design ... may be thats why the stitch is not very clear .... though your work looks good

    had it been only stem stitch and little closer you would have had a 'drawn with pen' effect .

    good to know that your son liked it a lot

    yeah september(donno the real name) thanks for your suggestion and you are right i started from the leg side and end to the other leg. thats y the stitch is looking like that.......anyway my son is happy to see this and i will make more clear and proper in the next cartoon emb.......

    its very perfect september........i also did some of stem stitches in my embroideyr works.............i feel some difficult in doing embroidery in the T- shirt, so it comes like that it seems...........anyway i will do it more perfect in my next work.........:bonk
