carpet cleaning?

    My drawing room carpet is really heavy to wash it.Is there any way to keep it clean and to maintain it's texture and color except laundry washing.

    I'll tell u what little i know. Its best to ask the dealer how to take care and maintenance. Here we can hire steam cleaners for carpets and i get mine done by a professional company. its worth the money because i have mine on high traffic areas so needs to be cleaned. hope this helps.

    Can we do carpet wahsing by ourselves with carpet shampoo and our ordinary vaccum cleaner? Has anybody done this, please give me some instructions

    I want to know about this too.

    Once a year or twice.. may be we can have professionals helps.. but what about the whole year.. heard about dry carpet cleaners.. anyone using them...

    Hi,
    Please share what we can do in India I bought it at Big bazaar but they dont know much please share its very dusty....I vaccumed but still doesnt look clean please help

    I too have tried a lot to clean my carpet. Finally I rolled it and put it on the loft. I m hesitating that it will lost its texture or color, if I wash it with soaps or shampoo. :bonk
