    Hi All,

    For those who are looking for an IT position, have you tried with the consultancies here?
    I came here last year, applied in jobsdb and got an opening within one month.
    But not very much sure about current opening although.

    initially I worked with DP+LOC for three months then the new employer converted it to EP.

    Can anybody help me to get a job. I completed my degree in computer Application and worked in a school with 3+ years of experience. I am on dp. I appreciate helping me to get interviews in schools.

    Happy Aayouda poojai.

    I hope you are already aware of the stricter rules of MOM recently about working on DP. Having said that, it is not impossible. The institution offering you the job should be willing to give you LC (Letter of Consent). Browse around for job openings in schools and other educational institutions and keep sending your resume to HR consultants also. It will help.

    I am getting married and relocating to Singapore. I have around 5 yrs of exp as senior software Developer in IT oindudustry.currently working in Top MNC in bangalore. Here is my profile
    Skilset: C,C++,Linux,shell script
    Domain:Set-top-box,Embedded,Telecom
    Had been to US for a while on project work.

    Just finished reading this thread .very informative.thanks evryone.Now got some idea about job hunting in SG.posted my CV in job portals 2 months ago however no calls.let me execute all your inputs posted in thread and keeping my fingers crossed.

    Can anybody please tell me how is the job openings fot IT developers in Singapore?

    First of all Congrats on your marriage and welcome to SG :)

    There is always a good market for developers in SG, my suggestion would be get a trasfer from your current company (if possible), so your EP processing will be done by them easily. Also coming here on EP will give you an one-up in job search if you want to switch company. Finding something on DP has come to become very tough over the past few years.

    Keep applying regularly for jobs on various sites like jobsdb, indeed.com, jobstreet, recruitsg etc and also keep sending your resumes to consultants here in SG.
