Hi All, I would like to get some career guidance. I am S/W Engg with 6 yrs experience. I wanted to do my Masters in S/W Engg. Not sure if it will be useful for me in the future. We are living in US. I felt if we are relocating to India after couple of years if I cannot continue with IT field, I can join some college and work as lecturer. That case minimum M.E/Mtech is required so now itself if I finish Masters, i can go into any field and will be qualified. Currently I am writing pros and cons of doing Masters. So wanted to get your tips/advice.. I have a 2 yr old and a full time job.Not sure how to manage everything if I do Masters. Should I take a part time job and do my Masters? Or Do some certification that will be useful for my career? I am QA Engineer with Java background. Could someone tell me what certifications I can do to improve career? Any advice will be helpful.
