Care of silk sarees

    Hi friends
    Can we wash silk sarees at home?? How can I remove mud stains from silk sarees??

    To remove stains....

    Hi Malini,

    Actually you have not mentioned what type of stain you are trying to remove.

    If it is a oil stain use payathamavu or kadalai mavu or sekakai powder.

    You can use shampoo to remove mud stains.

    Dont use strong detergent or Vanish to remove the stain.
