The wedlock and late evening reception over. Priest came and later formalities completed. Before auspicious time for nuptial ” just married girl” with blessings of seniors and giggles of experienced ones deposited into the decorated bed room - illuminated starry roof - to the waiting hands of her raw husband.
As (Ill) luck would have it, the power supply in the area went off.
It was pitch dark everywhere in “that” room as well as outside. odd hour.
My co-brother from inside the room demanded candles!
