Don't worry, if you believe the Quincunx, and the distribution, it is very rare to be an outlier, most people come within the "normal" distribution.
    And besides,
The round cross-section of the pegs of the quincunx make the pebble (or ball , or marble) go one way or the other in 50:50 chance, whereas real people (the pebble) meet their teaching interactions in life (pegs) that are biased toward something or the other (not round cross section). The pebbles of real life are herded towards the normal distribution, rather than some happenstance end result.
I am sure there is a thread somewhere about "how much parenting is too much parenting?".

Some didn't need the lights to go off.

During engg a guy in the gang was dating a senior. Well a senior became our classmate because she had a year break in between. So when we all sat together for our combine studies (exam used to be in second half and we were sitting from morning revising for the exams). Then on the pretext of stretching his arms the guys hands slowly went inside her shirt. When someone noticed (we all did) hand used to come out. Loll.

Back then in engg it gave a topic for others in the gang to gossip about. :roflmao:

"People look, and the hand used to come out" -- is an engineering concept for a "switch". I think this concept has been used in some science fiction movies.
In phoren, the friends (study gang) might say to any lovey-dovey twosome: "Go, get a room, you two!".

The living encyclopedia of IL. Tracks everything here :)
In days long gone by, when I was new to Nonya, I assumed she may be getting mired too deeply accidentally, later I have learnt its voluntary. :)

:hello: For sure I enjoyed reading the later half - that snuffing cone - something akin to thermostat. There it closes- elsewhere it begins in good earnest. A fine room engineering for hesitant beginners!
