Can we practice driving in Maryland with learners licence from Virginia?

    Getting licence from MD is a big headache i heard.. Wait for like 8 - 9 months, get certified by a driving school... Can i instead get a learners permit from virginia and practise in MD?

    Have any of you done so?

    Hey I'm not aware of that.... I'm applying for my learners frm va I'm on h4 ..is it easy to get the permit? Since I do nt have ssn do they ask fr more doc ?

    If you live in Maryland you have to be licensed including learners permits in Maryland. Getting a license in a neighboring state will get you a ticket and a fine.

    Sorry i didnt get one, so i donno.. I think you need to give SSN denial letter from SSN office,,
