    HI all,
I am using Aroma rice cooker since2 yrs.
rice cooker vessel is nonstick coated one.
The problem is even though it has non stick coating, the rice sticks to the bottom.

even though i used to soak it in water before cleaning the bottom coating has almost gone.
Now i am looking to buy new vessel.
I enquired in Walmart, Target but they won't sell it seperately.
& searched in net but seems like they also won't sell rice cooker vessel seperately.

so where we can get electric ricecooker vessel in US or in India?

Can anyone please let me know
    Thanku

    Hi,

I had the same problem but could not find a vessel - either here or in India. I ended up buying a new cooker. The new stainless steel one from Aroma is very good.

better to go with another cooker.

    Hi Suneeta,

I am using Aroma rice cooker and I have found that the rice does not stick to the bottom of the vessel if you smear a little oil on the base of the vessel before you place the rice and water. You can also spray the base with non-stick cooking spray prior to adding the rice.

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,
    Sowmya

    hi,
applying oil to the base or even adding a few drops to the rice works for me.I too usually switch it off when the light turns yellow. If you a vessel from another rice cooker then you can use that too if it fits the place where you keep the vessel.I do this and it works
    regards
    mj
