    Hi ILadies,

Thanks for your replies. I heard from many people that olive oil darkens the skin. Anyway, as oil can be used for massage, will use almond oil.

From tomorrow I m planning to use Dabur almond oil for her body massage before bathing.

Have anyone used this? Any reviews can be helpful.

Yes definitely Olive oil can be used in summer, Its beneficial a lot in Paralysis cures, skin soothing and widely used in ayurveda as a medicine for muscle spasms.

    Thanks

    hey rnp,

As it is hot there right now its better to use gingelly oil or
castor oil for massages. it reduces body heat and prevents skin problems related to heat.

i used to use coconut oil on my LO since the beginning , she had dry skin and used to get eczema , and this oil did not help in any way .
i tried different oils like olive oil and medicated coconut oil .
olive oil only worsened her skin . i think that also didnt suit her .

then i tried castor oil ...... and during winter i use gingelly oil ..... now ther is no problem with her skin .

castor oil is very cold and you should use judiciously and if your child gets cold often then be more careful ..... but gingelly oil is definitely a good alternative , which i use during winter as castor oil would be too cold for LO during winter .

    hi suganya ,

what kind of castor oil is good ???
the transparent one or black one ?

its best to use transparent castor oil..... Don't use it daily though it is too hot in your place.... castor oil is much cooling agent which may cause cold to your lo..... twice in a week can be used.... if you feel that your lo is struggling to pass stool due to heat then you can apply daily only to abdomen area and below.....
