I am using sesame oil for lighting lamp at my prayer place. But sesame oil is unavailable where I am staying right now. Please suggest can I use mustard oil?
Hi Archies123 You can use mustard oil in small amount for lamp lighting when there is no availability of sesame oil or coconut oil. It releases more fumes compare to others hence avoid using high amounts. Your devotion is important for God Hope this helps Thanks
Sister Archies123, :welcome to IL family, Try using Ghee or melt clarified Butter if either of them are available, May Baba guide you always, SAIRAM
in north india many people use mustartd oil for lamp , you can also use ghee in case you dont want to use mustard oil.
@cutemonster. Actually I am not in India right now and anything gets out of stock anytime. As sesame oil is out of stock these days. So I was confused.
Sister Archies123, Sairam, I am sure Ghee or Butter is available in most countries so whenever you find other oil which you are using goes out of stock you can use alternatively, May Baba guide us always, SAIRAM
