Any restrictions are only made to suit someone's convenience . It is believed uttering this chant with a mental focus on idols of Navagraha along with their vahanās & color might diminish or and negate bad or negative karmapalan. "Aarogyam pradhadhu ...."..chant too is of similar nature and believed as efficacious as this one.
