Calling mil as amma - Do we really mean? Is it peer pressure?

I never called them mummy daddy... i tried but it wouldn't come out. Plus 6 months after my marriage I started hating them to the core. They badmouth everyone and Hubby never finds any fault with that but IF I ever complain about them he avoids listening and moves away or changes topic. I never address them with anything. I dont even like the effect they have on me. I have become grudging and insecure because of them.:rant
