Buying Wet Grinder In Us- Where To Buy

    Hi ladies,
    I created thread as the same topic threads were old.

    I'm planning to buy a wet grinder in USA I live in CA.
    1. Where to buy -
    Amazon, innoconcepts, Taj appliances, Gandhi appliances?
    2. I have short listed 2 grinders for family of 3 that includes a child.

    Elgi ultra dura + (1.25 ltr) and premier wonder table top (1.5 ltr)

    Hi,
    I bought the same wet grinder as dimple143 & deepthivinayak has suggested. I bought it just 1 month back and its very good so far. But I got from another website rather than amazon. The price was same as in amazon though.
    on why I chose this model, even though the capacity is large (2 liters)
    I got a sowbhagya wet grinder from India and it worked fine only 6 months. Its similar to dura table top you are considering. But my suggestion is to avoid that kind of model where the locking mechanism is at the sides. In mine after using 6 months, the locking mechanism at the sides broke off. It did not lock properly, so the stones are not rotating. I contacted eastwestusa store as I heard they are good and authenticate store in repairs. I spoke to the owner and he said I have to ship the grinder to him for repairs. But its not cost effective. He also told he is receiving similar complaints mostly and advised to me to go for models with locking mechanism at the centre.
    They are located at california and if you buy from them they will take care of repairs within the warranty period. You can contact him directly and enquire.
    Only negative I would say is it took 10 days for shipping, though they said they will ship in a week.

    I had friends who use this model and they used to say its good. Amazon reviews also good for this model. I think you can go ahead with this.
