Re: NRI flat buying question Thanks again Shanvy. I just checked with my mom, my name in ration card has been invalidated since i was not present to sign during some verification (i guess during renewal). Can I use my Indian passport for photo id during registration? Your help is appreciated.
Re: NRI flat buying question viji, yes. your indian passport is accepted as proof. if you have a driving licence even that can be used. photo proof. curious..where are you buying, what is the rate. no need to answer if you don't want to.
Re: NRI flat buying question Not a problem to say where Iam buying.. It is 2 bedroom 900 sqlft flat in royapettaha (close to balaji nagar,) for Rs.5500 per sqft. It is about 7 yrs old. There are other buyers bidding, not sure if i get this...but preparing myself. Do you know if this is okay price?
Re: NRI flat buying question the rate depends on the floor, car parking, undivided share also. royapettah balaji nagar has good apartments isn't it. but isn't it muslim populated. i don't have anything against them, just voicing out.. check out what is the rate for a new apartment. for 7 years reduced 30%. on the squarefeet.
Re: NRI flat buying question You are right about balaji nagar, it is nice area (close to most of the stuff)...has lots of muslim. I do not have anything against them...except for cricket match against pakistan :thumbsup. I checked this flat, the floor atleast does not have non-veg...being hard core vegetarian it is hard to adjust with the smell.:rant
