    Hi All,
    I am 31 weeks pregnant.
I was cooking today and my stomach touched the frying pan :(
Burn is small, but baby kicks were more after that..Could it have harmed my baby?
Again happened because of my carelessness.

Relax, your baby is fine. The burn cant affect the womb.
The baby is reacting to your reaction of stress.

So chill, apply some cooling lotion on the burn. Take care

    Ya agree with @SunPa

There r layers protecting d baby. So slight scratches on the skin doesn't affect d baby. Just be super careful. Maybe slow down a lil n watch wen u move.

    Dear op,
I burnt my tummy too when I was pregnant.
Everything was fine. The baby is safe in the womb .
If you are fine...baby will be be fine so calm down.
When the burn heals...put coconut oil ,the scar will disappear/ lighten.

Your baby will be fine [IMG] It's so protected there. Try not to worry yourself, worse that would of happened is baby wondering why mummy screamed.

    Be careful..

No it won't effect the baby....it is well cushioned inside ..The more kicks may be because of your shock or may be the baby likes the smell of your cooking:)

Nothing happens. Don't worry. It's not carelessness. It's difficult to hav exact judgment as tummy is growing fast. I also keep bumping to things, spilling something on tummy. Just try to b careful.
