Buddies Required!!! Lose a kg for a month- June 2014!

    Hi all,

    I wanted to update that I didn't do anything the last ten days so zero points on that. I am in the midst of shifting my apartment but no excuses since my goal was something as simple as walking 10 ten minutes a day (yes! I am in that bad shape!). Good news is I started yesterday and did today as well. Hopefully I will be able to do it the next 10 days as well.

    You can try Trader Joy's mini chocolate cone ice cream. It is just 70 cal and it is not dark chocolate. It does not taste great, but definitely good for cravings. Btw..I love dark choc. ice cream with dark chocolate pieces and nuts.. Hm..so bad of you, now you have tempted me to eat that heavenly ice cream. :).

    Writera, I will give it a try, did you use full fat milk or 2%? I know you did not use fat free for sure.

    2 Brown bread with avocado/ turkey slice
    10 jack fruit slices yes 10 not typo
    no junk
    few black berries
    2 cup ff milk

    Planning to eat 1 chappathi with egg white roll for dinner as I am making puri for others.

    40 min Elliptical..today is a good day for me.

    Hi Anabika,

    I used the 'Slim' milk we get in India, which I guess is as good as 2% in the U.S. It turned out pretty good actually.. it's ice-creamy.. and not the slurpicious cream-cream ice-cream you get at stores. But I personally find it satisfying. Remember to freeze thoroughly and blend for just a wee bit and relish immediately. Try it guys and give me your feedback!

    June 10:

    Followed SBD.
    2 mile walk


    June 11:
    Cheat- Semiya upma - half cup @ dinner.
    Breathing routines followed.
    40 mins group cardio workout, 3 miles walk.

    June 12:
    Afternoon ate pasta- did not pack any lunch for me and did n't get a chance to get food from outside. Felt very guilty for eating pasta.
    today's diet:
    milk, green moon sundal,okra curry
    pasta,milk (got heart burn afetr I ate a cup of pasta with no veggies or yogurt- so, drank cold milk to reduce heart burn. I think the pasta sauce did n't suit my body. felt very acidic after eating.)
    tea, raddish curry,green moong sundal
    buttermilk,nuts

    Exercise:
    40 mins group cardio workout, 2.5 miles walk.

    June 13:
    Rest day.
    channa sundal,tea,okra curry
    cucumber salad with feta cheese and hummus,veg kuruma
    veg soy pattie with cheese slice
    tea
    paratha with veg curry late at night


    June 14:
    30 mins floor workout.
    Had a party and did n't exercise after.

    diet:
    roasted channa,green tea
    fruits
    chow chow koottu,channa sundal
    tea
    grilled veggies,paneer
    curd rice,fruit salad

    SBD followed for just a week. second week added one serving of carb for 4 days.
    I was so so good and ok as long as I did not deviate a bit. once I started taking grain carb for one day, I could not avoid it for the next days....

    I am positive that , I will be suceeded for 2 weeks in my next trial.

    Today, sunday- I am planning to detox my body from last week.
    2 days of detox diet. I dont know where to start. I am going to design my own diet plan from what I have at home or follow some preplannned diet.

    Dears,
    Here I am with good news...
    I weighed myself today , just to make sure that how much I gained from party day.
    Surprise!

    I am 125.4 lbs today.
    I have been highly motivated to cross 125 lbs ....
    Then, a real celebration awaits!
    Not with food, but with getting a new shoe and posting picture in IL.
    I promised Priya that I will post mine here only after reaching 125 lbs.

    Hope will do soon...
