    I heard a valuable information today:
    wish to share here.

    1 pound of extra weight on the body creates 4 pounds of stress on the knee.
    So, if a person is overweight by 10 pounds, he/she tends to put 40 pound stress on every step she put on the ground. So, every time a person is running on treadmill, her knee is most effectively under wear and tear...
    Include strength training as a part of exercise, moderate cardio if you are over weight person for fat loss. If we run or walk a lot in treadmill, we tend to lose more muscles also. We need to combine the cardio along with strength training . one of the best example is floor workout repetition is helping in building strength and muscles and also rise the heart rate if we do it on a reasonable pace...
    Also, please dont go on a zero carb diet. brain needs carb for better functioning. It is always good if the carb is whole grain. but portion control is very important. Lots of depression cases are there around, since people go on crazy diet to lose weight. save ourselves by eating all food groups in moderation....

    Tomorrow, the monday, is our last weighing day for June. Dears, every one participated in this thread, pls do update here not later than tomorrow.

    By July 1 st, night, I will consolidate and go on with my vacation.

    No Anu, if there is a long message and I have some thing to write on particular part of the post, how do I select only those part of the post which I am going to respond . If I try selecting some parts of the message and either click reply or reply with quote button, the full message is coming again...could n't figure it out...

    snack apple,dates,2 sips of frooti(no choice bcos of weather its 115, water bottle i took was like hot tea:)

    breakfast tea/2 dosas/chutney
    lunch 2 rotis/curry/cottage cheese
    snack 2 mangoes/dates
    dinner fruits

    sunday updates

    1ltr water on empty stomach
    breakfast tea/3 egg whites omlette
    lunch 2 rotis/curry/ chikoo lassi made with honey and date.. that was so yummmy
    snack 2 dates/
    3ltrs water
    dinner 1/2 fist dry cooked oats with sambar/fruits

    water 4ltrs
    exercise perxxx

    my rules
    1) less salt/less oil
    2) lean meat
    3) empty stomach 2ltrs water

    total points scored 7.5 pointss

    girls i opened new thread for july.. pls do update and come up with rules

    am excited to see my weight tommorow.. will i reach june goal 127lbs?
