Buddies Required!!! Lose 3 kgs by 30th June

    girls i updated my weight in spreadsheet..

    name anu
    starting weight 59.3kgs
    1st week weight 58.5 kgs
    lost weight in 1st week 0.8kgs
    reason: my body got stuck at this weight.. so it moving slowly
    2nd week weight 58.3kgs
    lost weight in week 2 0.2kgs
    reason: i took a break from exercise to see some change in my weight.. so rested for a week with no exercise but followed gud diet.
    june goal weight 57.6kgs
    goal weight 50kgs

    sreedevi u asked us to update in the above format?

    Week 3 Starts:

    June 17th:

    Empty stomach: 500 ml water+lemon+honey wt.
    Breakfast: Shavige upma.
    Break: Coffee
    Lunch: Strawberry milkshake.
    Evening Snack: salad
    Dinner:chapathi.
    Exer: JM 6 wk 6pack.

    Feeling good as I was able to resume my work out.
    If i stick to my diet I am sure will lose much more this week.

    @Anu,
    Any idea how much calories we burn doing this work out?

    Hi All,
    It is really great that you guys are joining hands for a common goal. Very heartening to see women taking care of their weight and bodies even after marriage and kids!
    But I must point out that most of the foods and exercises posted will not yield you the desired results in the long run.
    If you wanna loose weight you need to build muscle. You need to replace the fat in your body with muscle. Muscle will burn calories even when you are sitting. If you wanna build muscle you have to start eating a lot of protein and avoid fats. That means no pakodas, samosa, or anything fried. Also cardio exercises like treadmills, cycles, steps, jogging will burn away your muscle. When you finally have your meal after cardio exercise your body tends to store the calories as glycogen reserves. Weight training is the sure way of building muscle.
    Dont worry! Weight training will not make you look like a wwf champion. Females are genetically not capable of that.

    breakfast 2 chapatis with green peas
    lunch 4-5 spoons pasta 1 soanpapri
    snacks tea mixture watermelon
    dinner 2 chapatis with pumpkin
    water 3 lts
    exercise 5 mile walk
    hip crunches
    no points

    todays update

    empty stomach i did my workout :thumbsup
    75mins walk=5miles=830cals

    before breakfast 2ltr water
    tea+2 dosas+sambar
    lunch 2 rotis+2 egg white+curry+curd+cup of curd
    snack 2 dates
    before dinner 2 ltrs water
    dinner 1 roti+fruit bowl

    water 4ltrs

    my rules
    1)daily morning exercise :thumbsup
    2)less oil/salt :thumbsup
    3)lean meat :thumbsup

    following 1 st rule i had extra time with my kids. so i feel happy today
