    Nice to know you have posted in blogs again. Yes parents are role models for children. Only if given the right dosage of chellam, advise, guidance and pampering will they grow up as responsible citizens. Too much of pampering does not amount to showing affection. Right from their early age, we should spend quality time with them and teach them what is right and what is wrong!

    Viji Maam,

    I am expecting my first kid and used to be worried every now and then .. whether I would make a good mom.. whether I will be a good example/teacher to my child..

    So, when I saw the topic, I got interested.. What you say is true.. A parent's role is very important in the life of the child.. We should be careful not only about the food fed for the child's stomach, but also about the food of virtues,values,knowledge and wisdom fed for the child's mind,heart and soul..

    We should be careful enough not to intentionally or unintentionally set a wrong example for the kid to follow..

    I hope , I am going to learn and grow parallelly while making my child learn and grow..
