All hair removal should be done 2 days prior to the mendhi application. Manicures and pedicures should be done prior to the mendhi application. Skin should be well moisturized but no oils or lotions should be applied prior to bridal mendhi application. After application avoid all chlorinated products and anything alkaline. Do not use soap or water on the design for at least 12 hours after application. It is best to sleep with the mendhi on and scrape it off the next morning. For the best colour, bridal mendhi should be done 2 to 3 days prior to the wedding.:thumbsup
Hi yams Interesting to read this note on bridal upkeeps.Amazed at ur enthusiasm n love .....keep it up. :cheers
nice tips yams....i hve a few to share, i hve tried it and it works wonders. 1. try to keep your hands warm, burn some coal and add a few cloves, now use the smoke to keep hands warm. 2. one can apply nilgiri drops, vicks or even katha to enhance the colour. 3. stop putting your hands in water unnecessarily atleast three days prior to the application of mehendi.
