bowl movement fora 5 and half month old baby

Dear Mommies

my daughter is 5 and half month old. She is on rice cereal veggie and powdered boiled rice.
she has a been pooping 4 times a day now.Is this to much for her.

should i reduce the solid content.

should i change to something else. She has been on rice cereal for over a month now. Should i start Oatmeal now.'How long do we give the oat meal.Please suggest.

Hi ,
Solids and other foods can be introduced one food at a time for a week after the baby is 6 months old.
Upto 6months exclusive BF is the best for babies.
Pooping 4 times a day is normal.
I gave oatmeal to my DS when he was 9 months old.

About giving oatmeal you should check with your ped as some babies are allergic to gluten... usually they advice oatmeals after the baby completes 1 year ...
