    I really enjoyed:

Pride & Prejudice and Jane Eyre, they are best romantic novels.

Mother by Maxim Gorky and Wizard of Portobello and Eleven Minutes are really good quality novel.

Survival of the sickest is very good science novel for those who don't have medical background but can know very rare information about ur body.

I just love Calvin & Hobes series.Calvin is so sweet.

    Hi Priya,
Good to hear from you. Did you read Mitch Albom's "Tuesdays with Morrie" and "The five people you meet in heaven" ? He is fantastic.

Have you girls ever tried reading Russian literature? Try getting "crime and punishment"

    Have a good day....
    Qudsia.:2thumbsup:

Emma is a good novel but is slow moving. It's cross love affairs really fascinate, especially when emma got to know frank & jane's affair.Interesting but can be completed in 100 pages.I think so!

I googled and found that it was "Night Train to Deoli" actually...:) I agree, those sessions discussing the various aspects of the story used to be so interesting. You could be really creative in there and it would all be for a good cause...:-D

I too have read James Herriot...but it was a long, long time ago...*sigh* I first read him in one of those short story sections that used to be at the back of Readers Digest books. Will try to get the video version from Netflix...

    love,
    Aarushi

    Hi Qudsia,
I read "The five people you meet in heaven" but was not overly impressed with it. Maybe I didn't read it in the right mood.:)

I have read Leo Tolstoy and Chekov. Liked "War and Peace" but could only read a few pages of Anna Karenina. Chekov was again very difficult to read...maybe he is easier to read in Russian..he he...:-D

    love,
    Aarushi

    Hi Manjula,
Not only the fiction Da vinci code is stupendous, but also the movie too, after reading the novel don't miss to watch the movie. But surely you must read the novel and then watch the movie else the flavour of the novel is lost!! have a good time reading:)
