    Hello Ladies

Are you in your 40's, please go for the Bone Density Testing in a near by lab. Bone density peaks at about age 30 and begins to decline with age.

A BMD test is quick, takes less than 10 minutes and is non invasive. Heal, fore arm, hip, wrist and spine are the preferred areas for testing.

Based on the BMD results your physician may prescribe the calcium, vitamin supplements, exercises or any further tests.

Ladies look after your bones to look after your family since you are the back bone of your family.

Make a habit of having a glass of milk daily and look for calcium rich fruits and vegetables such as soya bean, oats, tofu, almonds, sesame seeds, orange, okra, cabbage and broccoli.

    Be healthy and be safe.

Very true...bone density tests are recommended as part of Gynecology tests by most Gyns/OBs.

Especially women tend to go very low on calcium ending up in lots of bone issues as they cross their 40s. It is recommended to have Calcium supplments (along with Vit D for complete absorption of Calcium).
