Bollywood/classical/ballet Combo? Good Or Bad?

    There is an academy near my home and the teacher said some small kids(not all)gets bored of pure bharatnatyam and so this combo for sometime and then switch them to classical if that’s interesting.

    Kid got no idea about bharatnatyam..just watched few YouTube videos and says she likes ballet when she saw that...

    Am confused.Should I directly put in pure classical?Is the teacher wrong?

    Kid is going to be 6.

    Kids have no idea about what's good for them. They cannot make informed decisions about anything - most definitely not about the arts. For them, almost everything is simply a fleeting mélange of likes and dislikes. It's up to you as a parent to gently and skilfully steer her toward capacities that lead to a fulfilling life. So ask yourself this: as her mum, what are your reasons for dance lessons?

    At 6,dance is too early.
    Don't push her bcuz another Indian kid is going.
    If she really likes dance, go for it.
    With ballet, kid will be on the toes.
