bluish bruise on face

Hi All,

My 10 month old DD had a fall while trying to stand yesterday n fell on her face...as a result she has a bluish-black bruise on her cheek which we call as "Neel" in hindi...

i applied some ice on it n the swelling has now almost gone but the bruise is still showing...please suggest some home remedies to let it heal faster...since it is on her face...

Hi Shabani, I do not know any home remedies for this.. but did you get it checked with her paed? a doc visit will help console you.. also this (if left) will heal in few days.. this blue bruise might trun black before it completely disapears. but it will go away for sure.

Thanks Arthidiva for your reply....yeah i did visit her paed....he told not to worry..it will go away....

but i was just worried since it is on her face...n yes it has now turned black...now im just waiting for it to disappear...
