There are many good pre-schools in Bloomington. My son attended Chesterbrook academy, and there are about 3 branches of that. Since your son is 4, you have to find one for only a year. The others that I know are good are:

Little Jewels - slightly pricey, and usually has a waiting list
La Petite - also good, and there are apartments not too far from it.
Bright Horizons - a friend sent her son there and was pleased with it
Kindercare - A national chain (similar to Chesterbrook and La Petite)
    Bloomingrove Academy

Be prepared that all pre-schools in the US are kind of expensive, but they also teach kids a lot.

    Hope this helps

Thanks a lot!! Yaa preschools are expensive. I stay in boston and here preschools are very expensive too. Cost of living is high here. Thanks a lot for the info. I see that the cut off date for kindergarten is sept 1st. My son is born on sep 6 th. So he might have to study in the preschool one more year right.

If he will turn 5 on Sep 6, 2015, you can contact which ever elementary school you will be going to before the end of this current school year, and see what their policy is. Sometimes they will make an exception if the child is mentally ready for facing kindergarten.

On the other hand, if you are like me and a few others I know, you will allow your son to enjoy one more year in pre-K and let him join regular school after 1 more year.

    All the best
