    I was deeply moved to read the news. I know exactly how you must be feeling and I feel happy for your family as well as you. I hope this little thing brings you endless joy over time -- her smiles, her titters, her toddling, her love and her hopes. May all the world's joys visit her and your home.

    Towards my early days at IL, I had begun to write about my granddaughter too. But then, for one reason or the other, gave up on it. What I had written still exists here. May be I will finish the tale someday. May be I will not be there much longer to finish it.
