Ingredients :- Bitter gourd 2, chilly powder 11/2 tsp, corriander powder 1tsp, turmeric powder 1/2 tsp, Boiled rice 2 cup, tomato 2 no, onion 1 cup, tamarind a big lemon size, salt, asfoetida 1 pinch, fenugreek seeds powder 1/4 tsp, groundnut powder 1/2 cup, roasted groundnut 1/4 cup, oil, corriander and curry leaves.... Method of preparation:- first step cut the bitter gourd in to fine small pieces without seed.. then kept the bitter gourd in a bowl sprinkle some salt leave it for 1/2 an hour to 1 hour...then the bitter gourd leaves water from it.. taken only bitter gourd.. leave the water..( drink this water in a empty stomach for Deworming)... Keep kadai in stove put more oil ... Once oil get heated roast the bitter gourd ... Once it turns out light golden colour... Then keep it aside.. keep kadai again add oil.. then add mustard seeds, asfoetida, fenugreek seeds powder, onion, tomato, curry leaves one by one.. these all saut well .. then add chilli powder, corriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, saut well for few minutes... Once oil comes out then add the roasted bitter gourd, then add tamarind pulp.. kept stove should be sim for all process.. Add a pinch of sugar or jaggery.. once bitter gourd cooked well and oil comes out add groundnut powder... Then mix rice.. mix well .. while serving add Roasted groundnuts... It's really very tasty... Even my son also like this.. it has no bitter taste... Kids like this way of giving bitter gourd.. Hope everyone try this and feed back... Thank you IL ites...
