Wish I had that maturity while I was young, for all the silly fights that I picked up with my sisters. Now to think of it :hide:..Phew!..they were such sweets.

Since I joined recently, I read few posts only and So, by far the post I most loved here in IL is this. What more a bliss we can have in this world than the JOY we have when we're with children. They're pure BLISS and LOVE.

I don't know how to nominate here. Otherwise, as GG said, I too would have joined in that race.

Keep writing posts like this. Also, I find so many very good & best people are here. Nice to have found this site.

I am just reminded of a simlar incident that happened in in 1986 in our office.
One of our friends lost her husband in a plane accident when he was coming to celebrate the first birth day of his son.
Within a month another lady from our office lost her life while coming to office ,in a motor bike accident.
Myself with three of our friends took the initiatice contacted the survivors and their families .There was some objection initially. Yet we were able to persuade and we arranged for the wedding of the two bereaved partners.The children got accommodated so easily with one another. Now the children are about 30, well educated and settled. The couple had their life;the kids enjoyed the love and affection of parents.

A great sense of satisfaction filled our hearts when the simple marriage was solemnised in the presence of intimate friends.I still visualise my friend's face when I gifted her a Kunkumam simizh.
Today's world , girls are educated and very generous in their outlook. The step motherly treatment etc are topics of earlier era.

That's again a beautiful happy happy story to hear. Hearing such stories give a lot of hope actually. I strongly believe that bad phases do pass, its all matter of time. All we have to do is give time some time and let it to heal.
This doesn't surprise me at all, people were very progressive in their thoughts at time itself.

Wow, Neetu, am overwhelmed with joy after reading this story. And why ever not? The innocence and sweetness of childhood is something we don't get to see so often in the world of adults. What uncomplicated minds they have! Of course, not all would necessarily be like that ..... we do see instances of sibling rivalry, jealousy, insecurity and so on. But Chickoo seems to be blessed with a pure, clean heart. May she retain that sweetness all her life.

You are truly blessed to have got such a wonderful insight into the nature of pure love.
