    its true .. we have to help the birds servive .
    i kept water in a small bowl in a corner in my balcony garden , and put rice on the shade..
    it feels really good to see birds drink that water and also from the plates under the pots
    my one year old baby enjoys this a lot...
    :)

    I am a bird lover.... i place food in my balcony fence for birds to come and have....and not only birds i have squirrel and mice as a regular visitor :)and i have an artificial pond just next to my apartment...i throw food for fish and ducks that live in the pond :biggrin2:...i do keep water for birds on the ground...i have attached a few pics that i clicked...

    You surely are a true lover of Mother Nature....such exquisite pictures .....fantastic eye for detail and great camera weilding skills
    The first one of the squirrel is a perfect study of grace and poise....loved the superb curve of his bushy tail and his teeny weeny front legs holding on to his treasure .
    The second one of the horn billed duck ( is it? looks so) wondering whether to pop in to the water for a swim is breathtakingly beautiful ....the rich aquamarine blue shade of the rippling waters looks heavenly....
    The last one of the bird ....is that a blue finch?.....amongst the rich green foliage is again very captivating.
    :cheers to your perfect camera angles and delightful subjects...
    as Raga said, a wonderful tribute to Earth Day

    Me too.
    A lover of nature, birds and animals.
    I placed a bird feeder in front of our houseon the little tree here.
    I got it from Home Dept. and the grains are also sold here and I got it.
    I kept for birds. But little squrill is enjoying it. Have a look.

    nice tips but here summer season changed as rainy season hence water stagnat on ther.i also keeping water in a small bucket to have the birds to drink it and i feed them:)
