We are planning to visit Canada in the first week of September. Is it a good time to visit? Will the weather become too cold by then?

    1. We are travelling from Boston, MA, USA. How many days do we need to spend in Canada?

    2. Please suggest what are the places that we need to visit? We are planning to visit Toronto & Montreal. Is that enough or any other places need to be visited?

    3. What are the must see places in both the cities? Can we use the city pass travel?

    4. Please suggest best places for shopping? I heard there is a mall in Toronto which sells clothes for very less. Please let me know which mall is tht n also suggest other places for shopping too.

    5. Please suggest best vegetarian & non vegetarian restaurants in Toronto.

    Thanks

Tripadvisor and your local AAA can offer tips on plannng your trip

Weather could be bit colder in Fall as it is further north. So keep your fleece/sweatshirt with hoodies handy.

Learn some basic words in French (for Montreal visit) especially that required to navigate around
    Exit- Sortie
    West - Ouest
    East - Est
    South - Sud
    North - Nord
    Stop - Arrèt
    Thank you - Merci
    He
Montreal - Notre dame Bascilica and area around old port took almost a day.
Found this interesting for kids not mentioned in Trip Advisor. Ariel adventure course

Do some homework on knowing the nearby trainstations, free parking close to where you stay as Montreal has a good public transportation system.

Last but not least, if you pay cash in US dollars it is considered as the same value in Canadian dollars and no conversions applied for cash transactions! Wherever credit cards are accepted no such issues.

City pass would be good if you plan for extended stay
