Hi For me the best side dish is -COCONUT with POTTUKADAI & CHANNADHAL and GREEN CHILLI CHUTNEY (THE BASIC) -Onion Tomato Sambar -Onion Channa Dhal Tomato Chutney BUT even if I have some 4 varieties of side dish, still I need my home made Milagai Podi (gun powder) with gingely or fried refined oil to make it a grand finale. Hi The oil that we use for frying pappad etc. Only once used no reheating of that oil, so the remaining one we use for mixing with Milagai podi or Paruppu podi rice. (We call it as 'chutta ennai'). shanti
My ideal would be sambar, coconut chutney, pudina chutney and onion-tomato chutney. I even drink this sambar made for idli / dosa.
