Hi Abhinayaa...i personally have never tried cloves for color...but heard it does give more color like beetroot
maybe i ll try next time..thanks for reminding

Hai Swaran,
I tried cloves on last saturday. It gave nearly dark maroon colour. But I wanted nearer to brown shade. I ground beetroot with cloves and extracted the juice and mixed amla and lemon juice. Later mixed henna powder and put it in a iron vessel for one night and applied it and waited for three hours and washed. It gave good maroon with reddish tint. But I need brown shade. Please help me.

If u want brown,i believe u can cut off beetroot and cloves...

Hi!
what is your purpose of doing henna?If you want only conditioning and brown colour,you need to keep for only one hour after applying.If you want to cover you grey hair,then keep for 2-3 hrs.Wash your hair with only water. Dont shampoo on the same day.you should massage with oil
and wash next day with a shampoo for best desired colour.

Thank you for your valuable suggestions. I have prematured grey hairs. I want to cover them through henna with brown shade. With one hour application of henna, it is not possible for covering greys. If I wait for three hours, it is getting reddish tint. I am totally confused for the ingredients for getting brown tint. In my town, applying henna with reddish tint, somehow criticism and comments go on. So Please help me to get nearer to brown shade from henna, and I am ready to leave the greys without colouring, but that too affects the image and self-confidence. I cannot go for chemical dyes, because of sensitive skin. Please help me.

Amla & coffee probably will give you the shade of brown... try it..

Thank You friends. certainly I inform all of you after getting the brown shade. Really I am experiencing the experiment. I applied last friday. So I have to wait one more week and then I apply the planned trial.
